Roy’s Roast is a family run business started in 1998, sparked by Saturday morning trips to the market with my father. We have a passion for all things local and have become a place where countess regulars gather for their Saturday morning coffee and breakfast. My love for coffee is remarkable and it shows with every cup I serve. Each one of my customers is considered family. Most have watched me grow up at the shop from the time I was a 13-year-old eating coffee beans out of the bins, to now seeing my two daughters behind the counter.
Over our 23 years of operation I have enjoyed watching our customers’ children grow up and have families of their own, who have also become a part of the market family. It is truly a unique place where there is always laughter and a positive, cheerful energy in the air. I am proud to express the sense of community this coffee shop offers Downtown Cambridge.
We serve a wide variety of locally roasted coffees, baked goods, fresh bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Supporting local has always been a huge part of my life and I hope I can bring that sense of community into your home with every cup of coffee.
